This is a factory born and bred Texas car, produced in Texas and shipped to Texas City, Texas in June of 69.

Description:

Rust free car which has been frame-off restored. The frame-off restoration was started about two-and-a-half years ago and has been  completed in the last few months. We completed this restoration for our sons first car, however, my wife and I decided it was not an ideal first car for a 16 1/2 year old and the rest is history. The correct YS code 400 GTO motor was rebuilt, trans, new vinyl top, headliner, dash, carpet, re-conditioned interior, new package tray, all weather strippings, tires, exhaust, bushings, body emblems, gaskets, door handles, restored original Rally II’s, windshield replaced, much more.  The car was a factory bucket seat car, but was not ordered with the console option. I purchased a console in extremely good condition and it will come with the car including the shifter cable, bracket, console brackets, straight column, and everything that would be needed to convert it. The console is already restored and ready to install including the armrest, shifter, etc. If this is not wanted, I would be willing to give a $400 credit on the sale of the car.

History:

This is a second owner car, which has been owned since 1985 when it was purchased from original owner. From the factory, this car had air conditioning that is currently not hooked up.

The car was taken off the frame and the frame was repainted, body mounts, front end, suspension, etc., were all addressed and gone through. The paint was stripped off the car and taken down to bare metal and was repainted to the gorgeous color of 1969 Warwick Blue. The car has a 69 rear spoiler and hood tach and looks absolutely fantastic! The color is absolutely stunning. There are also many other things that were replaced and reconditioned on the car that are not mentioned. The seat upholstery and door panels are original but have been re-dyed and are in absolutely great shape for their age and look nice. The rest of the interior parts are new.

The trunk has been splattered painted to the correct 69 GTO color and under the hood it is as clean as a whistle with the engine block and chrome air cleaner looking brand, spanking new.

Car runs, sounds and drives fantastic. Smooth, fast and dependable. Clear and free title. PHS documented.

Note: I have a set of Judge stripes and decals, which I was going to put on the car but wasn’t sure if someone else would like them or not, so the decals come with the car unless the new owner would like them installed, which we would be happy to do at no charge. If the Judge decals are unwanted, we would be willing to deduct $100 from the sale price as I can return them. Just to be clear, this is a very good car and it looks great but it is not a 100 point trailer queen show car. It is a nice driver that you can be proud of, but not worry about driving it around. It is priced fairly and it is a good solid rust free great driving car. Good luck.
